About
I collaborate with corporate and commercial clients, agencies, publishing houses, and leading magazines on corporate and editorial assignments across Norway, Scandinavia, and internationally.
My photography is rooted in authenticity, capturing subjects on location with a deep understanding of their context.
By combining professional preparation, experience, and creative intuition, I create candid and compelling images across diverse themes and individual. Always with professional dedication and empathy. With this mindset, I approach every commission as if it were my own personal project.
Assignments
Corporate branding photography
I specialize in intuitive, observational corporate branding photography, capturing authentic moments at company headquarters, organizations— governmental and non-governmental, and leading agencies—on location and mostly un-staged. The photography highlights a brand’s identity, culture, and professionalism through natural executive portraits, workplace interactions, office environments, or illustrative photographs that convey a client’s key themes. The images are used in company websites, employee recruiting, social media profiles, marketing and advertising materials, press releases, media kits, internal and B2B communications, annual reports, corporate presentations, and curated image libraries.
Editorial photography
With experience for reportage and portrait assignments for international magazines and papers I very much appreciate to visually tell stories - my initial start to professional photography.
Portraiture
I am dedicated to capturing people on location with an empathetic approach—whether ministers, CEOs, politicians, professionals, artists, or everyday individuals.
Event photography
Event photography for selected high-level clients. Official photographer for conferences and high-level visits for corporate clients and organizations, including:
Oslo Forum (Humanitarian Dialogue / Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters (DNVA)
Skagen Fondene, Nor-Shipping, Styretinstituttet, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Getty Images Corporate

Background
Since 1997, I have worked full-time as a photographer, with a strong focus on reportage photography for newspapers and weekend magazines in Germany and internationally, including assignments in the Western Balkans, Sudan, Beijing, and beyond.
Around the early 2000s, I took an interlude to gain industry experience from the other side, working at the picture desk for die tageszeitung and the 2-million-copy member magazine Ver.di Publik in Berlin. Beyond my photographic work I hold a Master’s degree in Political Science, Social Anthropology, and Economics from the University of Freiburg, which has likely influenced my fieldwork-inspired approach to photography. Since 2005 I am living in Oslo.
Speaking Norwegian, German and English.
